Originated from the utukku (demon) in Sumerian mythology. Utukku is a spirit of the dead who died a violent death or weren't buried properly. They appear in the human world, lure people and cause disease and disaster. If their skeletons are lost, they can't be buried properly, they wander off and harm people. They often morph into sinister animals. Honestly I think they are pitiful souls... only if they are as beautiful as she is.
